Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Baldwin Integrated Solutions for joeybmaps, mapping sessions with Joey, and builds. Three other pages are part of these terms: Billing, cancellation and refunds; the Privacy Policy; and AI use.

1. Who we are

We are Baldwin Integrated Solutions, based on Maui, Hawaii. Joey Baldwin runs the company. In these terms, "Baldwin Integrated", "we" and "us" mean that company.

"You" means the person using the service. If you use it for a business or another organization, "you" also means that organization, and you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for it.

2. Accepting these terms

  • You accept these terms when you create an account, check the box at checkout, or use the service.
  • If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
  • These pages are part of these terms:

3. The service

The service has three parts.

  • Mapping sessions with Joey. Live one-hour sessions, in person or by screen share. What you are carrying goes onto one map and gets sorted: what needs attention now, what can wait, what can be delegated, what needs a decision, what must be tracked, and the longer plan. Your first session is complimentary.
  • The joeybmaps software. Where your map lives between sessions. It has tiles for each area of life and business, and AI agents that keep your priorities moving, approve-first. It runs on the web and as a phone app.
  • Builds. New tiles, command centers and custom systems, or existing tiles adapted for you, built from what your map shows you need. Joey, his team and AI agents build them.

What each plan includes is on the Plans page (/plans) and in Billing, cancellation and refunds.

  • We may add, change or remove features. If we remove a core part of a paid plan during your term, we will tell you first, and you can cancel with no early-termination charge.
  • Some features are new or still being built. Features marked beta or coming soon may change or stop.

4. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must be 18 or older to create an account or join a world.
  • Give us accurate information and keep it current.
  • You sign in with your email address and a password. If two-step sign-in is on, we also send a one-time code to your email. Keep your password and your email account secure.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Each person needs their own login. Do not share yours.
  • If you think someone else has used your account, tell us right away at support@joeybmaps.com.

5. Worlds and teammates

  • Your world. Each client gets a private world in joeybmaps, one per client. Your map, tiles and records live there.
  • The owner. The person or business that opens a world, or pays for its plan, is its owner. Only the owner can change the plan, see billing or cancel.
  • Teammates. The owner can invite people into the world, up to the number the plan allows. Every teammate must be 18 or older and accept these terms.
  • Permissions. The owner decides what teammates can see and do. On Business Pro and Business Operating System, permissions can be set tile by tile.
  • Responsibility. The owner is responsible for the people they invite and for what those people do in the world.
  • When a teammate leaves. The owner can remove a teammate at any time. What the teammate added stays in the world, which belongs to the owner.

6. Agents work approve-first

  • AI agents in joeybmaps watch your priorities, track your actions and draft follow-ups.
  • Agents draft. Nothing goes out without your yes.
  • Drafts wait in Approvals until you approve, change or decline them.
  • No setting lets an agent send a message to other people on its own. If we ever add one, it will stay off unless the owner turns it on, and the owner will be responsible for what it sends.
  • The owner can set rules that approve low-risk actions inside the world automatically. Medium- and high-risk actions always wait for a yes.
  • Some approved messages wait a short delay before they go out, and you can undo them during it.
  • When you approve a draft, it goes out as yours. Read it first.
  • Only the owner of a world can approve its drafts. Teammates cannot, and neither can Baldwin Integrated staff viewing your world.

7. Mapping is not therapy or professional advice

  • Mapping sessions, joeybmaps, builds and AI output help you organize, plan and decide.
  • None of them is any of the following:
    • Therapy, counseling or mental health care
    • Medical advice
    • Legal advice
    • Financial or investment advice
    • Accounting or tax advice
  • Joey and his team do not act as your therapist, doctor, lawyer, accountant, or financial or investment adviser.
  • Tiles such as Medical & Health, Mental Health, Investments, Personal Taxes, Legal & Contracts and Personal Estate Plan hold your own information. They do not give professional advice.
  • Talk to a licensed professional before you act on matters in those areas.
  • You make your own decisions and are responsible for them.
  • Do not use joeybmaps for emergencies. If you or someone else is in danger, call 911. In the US, you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to:

  • Break the law, or help someone else break it.
  • Upload or connect content you do not have the right to share.
  • Record a call without the consent the law requires.
  • Send emails, texts or messages to people who have not agreed to get them, or send spam.
  • Harass, threaten or harm anyone.
  • Get into, or try to get into, another person's world, account or data.
  • Probe or break our security, or get around a plan's limits.
  • Upload malware, or overload or disrupt the service.
  • Copy, scrape, resell or reverse engineer joeybmaps, or use it to build a competing product, except where the law allows.
  • Share logins, or give more people access than your plan includes.
  • Use AI features in ways that break the law or our AI providers' usage policies.
  • Store health information for a medical practice or health plan (protected health information under HIPAA), or full payment card numbers.

We may remove content or limit features that break these rules.

9. Your content stays yours

  • Your content is everything you or your teammates put into, or connect to, your world: maps, tiles, notes, people records, calls, files and messages, and what we map with you in sessions. AI output made for you in your world is part of your content.
  • You own your content.
  • You give us permission to host, store, copy, process, display and send your content, only as needed to run, secure and support the service for you, and as the Privacy Policy describes. This includes sharing it with our service providers and AI providers. It also includes Baldwin Integrated personnel, including Joey, viewing and working in your world to deliver sessions, builds and support.
  • This permission applies worldwide and is free of charge. It is non-exclusive, so you stay free to use your content however you like.
  • The permission ends when your content is deleted, except for copies in backups until they are overwritten and anything the law requires us to keep.
  • We do not use your content to train AI models unless you opt in, and never data from Google accounts you connect, such as Gmail. We may keep and use de-identified, aggregated data that no longer identifies you or anyone else, including after your account ends.
  • You confirm you have the rights and consents your content needs, including for information about other people and recordings of calls.
  • Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. You can export everything at any time with the Export button in Settings.
  • If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without paying you or owing you anything.

10. What we own

  • We own joeybmaps: the software, tiles, Tile Store, Guides, templates, Industry Systems, designs, code and written materials, and the joeybmaps and Baldwin Integrated names and logos.
  • While your account is in good standing, we give you a personal right to use joeybmaps for your own life or business, as your plan allows. The right is non-exclusive and you cannot transfer it. It ends when your account ends, or if we suspend it under these terms.
  • We keep all rights we do not expressly give you.

11. Builds

  • A build is a new tile, command center or custom system, or an existing tile adapted for you.
  • Every build is estimated up front from your map, before anything is built. You decide whether to go ahead. Billing is in Billing, cancellation and refunds.
  • We own the builds we make, including the code and design of builds made for you. You can use a build in your world while your plan includes it. If you leave, you keep your data and can export it.
  • Your data stays yours. Every build can become a template for others once your data is removed.
  • Before a build becomes a template, we remove your records, names, numbers, files and branding. We do not name you or your business as the source without your permission.

12. Connected services

  • You can connect other services to joeybmaps, including Google (Gmail, Calendar and Contacts), Microsoft (Outlook mail, calendar and contacts, OneNote and To Do), other email accounts, Fathom, Plaid, Strava, Tessie, Slack, Instagram, WhatsApp (through Twilio) and Claude. We use Stripe for payments, Twilio for texts and calls, and Duffel for flight search and booking.
  • Each of these services has its own terms and privacy policy. Those terms apply when you connect the service or pay through it.
  • When you link a financial account through Plaid, you also agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy: https://plaid.com/legal/#end-user-privacy-policy
  • When you connect a service, you allow joeybmaps to get the data you authorize and to act through the connection when you approve it, for example sending an email you approved.
  • We do not control these services. We are not responsible for what they do, for their outages, or for changes they make. A connection can stop working if a provider changes or ends access.
  • When you book a flight through joeybmaps, the airline's terms and Duffel's terms apply to the booking.
  • Calling is off until the owner turns it on. Calls placed through joeybmaps are recorded for notes, and the other person hears a recording notice when the call starts.
  • You can disconnect a service at any time in Settings, under Connect. The Privacy Policy explains what happens to data already brought in.

13. AI output can be wrong

  • AI powers Atlas, the agents, Guide chat, briefings, suggestions, photo and document tools, and voice transcription. AI use (/ai) explains how.
  • AI output can be wrong or out of date, and it can leave things out. Check it before you rely on it, approve it or act on it.
  • You are responsible for what you approve and how you use AI output.
  • AI output may be similar to output made for other people.
  • Your plan includes AI credits each month. When they run out, AI features pause until you top up or upgrade. See Billing, cancellation and refunds.

14. Text messages (SMS terms)

  • What you get. When you give us your phone number and verify it in joeybmaps, you agree to get transactional text messages from joeybmaps:
    • Verification and multi-factor sign-in codes
    • Project and task notifications
    • Team alerts
    • Calendar and scheduling reminders
    • Digests and follow-ups you choose to get by text
  • How often. Message frequency varies with your account activity and notification settings.
  • Cost. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Stop. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will get one text confirming it, and no more texts unless you opt back in. You can also remove your phone number in your account settings.
  • Help. Reply HELP to any message for help, or email support@joeybmaps.com.
  • Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Privacy. We never share your phone number or your text opt-in with third parties for their marketing. See the Privacy Policy.
  • Texts with Joey. Plans that include text access to Joey between sessions use person-to-person texting from Joey's own number, separate from these automated messages.
  • Your messages to others. If you send texts or messages to other people through joeybmaps, you are responsible for having their consent.

15. Plans, payments and cancellation

Billing, cancellation and refunds (/billing-terms) covers plans and prices, the 14 free days, the annual plan's 12-month term and early-termination charge, renewals, cancellation, refunds, AI credits, the activity allowance, sessions and builds. It is part of these terms. The main points:

  • Every paid plan starts with 14 days free. A card is needed to start, and it is charged on day 15 unless you cancel.
  • The Annual plan, billed monthly, is a 12-month commitment. Ending it early after the 14 free days costs 50% of the monthly payments left, charged once.
  • There are no refunds after the 14 free days.
  • Each plan has a monthly activity allowance. The Radial is unlimited on every plan.
  • You can cancel online at any time with the Cancel button in Settings, under Plan and billing.

16. Suspension and termination

You can stop at any time.

  • Cancel your plan with the Cancel button in Settings, under Plan and billing. When the paid period ends, your world moves to the Free plan and keeps its data.
  • To delete your account, email privacy@joeybmaps.com. Deletion has a 14-day grace period, explained in the Privacy Policy.
  • On the annual plan, ending early carries the charge set out in Billing, cancellation and refunds.

We can suspend or end your access if:

  • You break these terms or the law.
  • You do not pay an amount you owe.
  • Your use creates a security or legal risk for us or for others.
  • The law, or a provider we depend on, requires it.

When we reasonably can, we will tell you first, give you a chance to fix the problem, and let you export your data.

If we stop offering the service or your plan, we will tell you at least 14 days ahead, and we will refund any unused prepaid time, prorated.

What continues after your account ends: the sections on your content, what we own, builds, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law, and any amounts you owe.

17. Disclaimers

  • We provide the service as is and as available.
  • To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties not stated in these terms. This includes implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and any warranty that comes from statute.
  • We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI output will be accurate, or that connected services will keep working.
  • We do not promise any particular result from sessions, joeybmaps or builds. Results described on our website come from past clients. Yours may differ.
  • Some places do not allow these disclaimers. Where that is so, they apply only as far as the law allows.

18. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • We are not liable for any of the following, even if we were told they could happen:
    • Lost profits, revenue, business or goodwill
    • Lost or corrupted data
    • Indirect or incidental damages
    • Special or consequential damages
    • Punitive or exemplary damages
  • Our total liability for all claims about the service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100.
  • These limits apply under any legal theory, including contract, tort and statute.
  • Some places do not allow these limits. Where that is so, they apply only as far as the law allows.

19. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Baldwin Integrated and its people against any claim brought by someone else, and pay the resulting losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, if the claim comes from:

  • Your content, including information about other people and recordings of calls
  • Messages you approve or send through joeybmaps, or that an agent sends under a setting you turned on
  • Your breach of these terms
  • Your breach of the law or of someone else's rights

We will tell you about the claim and let you take part in the defense.

20. Governing law and where disputes go

  • Hawaii law governs these terms and any dispute about the service, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
  • Before filing a claim, email support@joeybmaps.com and give us 14 days to try to resolve it.
  • Disputes go to the state courts on Maui or the federal court for the District of Hawaii, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.
  • Either of us may bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies.
  • If you are a consumer, you keep any rights that the law where you live gives you and that a contract cannot take away.

21. Changes to these terms

  • We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and change the date at the top.
  • If a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect.
  • Price changes follow the notice rules in Billing, cancellation and refunds.
  • If you do not agree to a change, you can cancel before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
  • A change does not apply to a dispute that started before it.

22. General

  • Whole agreement. These terms, with the pages they include, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service. A signed agreement for a build or for custom terms controls where it differs.
  • Notices by email. You agree that we can send notices, receipts and disclosures by email or in the app.
  • Transfer. You may not transfer these terms without our written consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, sale or reorganization.
  • Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as outages at providers, natural disasters or government action.
  • Severability. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • No waiver. If we do not enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later.
